Sometimes in life, you find yourself in troubled waters.

They could be stormy or they could becalmed.

Both are equally troubling and upsetting.

When I was younger, I would seek escape in books, now more and more I turn to illustration.

Images more than words, soothe and ‘speak’ to me.

Especially wonderful work like that produced by Owen Gent

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, which is just as well, because on his website Owen is a man of very few words -

Owen Gent is an Illustrator based in Bristol in the South West of England.

Owen also writes, directs and illustrates as one half of Uncle Ginger animation studio, and is represented in France and Canada by Colagene Creative Clinic.
