 This is the Miu Miu staircase, as shot by Bruce Weber in the latest advertising campaign.

A stairway of glittering treasures... 

It goes without saying, that  now, I can't get The Zepp out of my head and curiously,Mr Plant 's lyrics are strangely appropriate.

"There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold 

And she's buying the stairway to heaven. 

When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed 

With a word she can get what she came for.

 Sadly for us mere mortals, we require, that the shops be open, before we can get our paws on the shiny shoes.

It's a veritable cornucopia of shoes and sandals, in all shapes and sizes . But all of them are glittery and gorgeous...

It goes without saying that you can track them down at most high end on line boutiques, but if I were you, I would head straight over to Kingdom favourite My Theresa

Because there, not only will you find platform sandals and ballerina flats, you will also find the wonderful wonderful glitter brogues...
