get cozy in a capote...

So it's officially the season to get into snuggly clothes. Clothes that feel as cozy as they look.

It took me a long time to find out that the best thing to do that in is alpaca. It's lightweight but oh good grief it is so so warm.

Top of my wish list is this Lauren Manoogian Capote Coat. Available in Charcoal and Chambray but you better be fast, it's only available this weekend.

Lauren Manoogian has been interpreting an evolving vision through her eponymous label since 2008. With a background in textiles from the Rhode Island School of Design, Manoogian's work has organically grown from a number of material experiments to her current knitwear focused ready-to-wear collection. By combining gently manipulated textures, an integral language of detail and an understated yet discernible shape, the brand has developed an innate following. With the connection of intuitive modernity and hand craft, Manoogian continues to attract an audience drawn to a personally extended aesthetic.

Needless to say I am sharing alpaca and the finest merino wool while I sit wearing a tragic old black cotton jumper. It's time for me to step up my knitwear game
