a cut above...

Back in the olden days, when you were looking for inspiration you looked to books and magazines ( I still often do but then I'm a bit of a dinosaur)

But then along came the information highway and changed it all!

So now when I'm searching for something the first thing I do is get on the googles. It goes without saying that what is out there is endless and sometimes that makes searching so much trickier. But what it does allow for is happy accidents. When you follow and trail and come across something wonderful!

I was searching last week for food photographers and somehow came across this creation on behance by a girl called Ali Ciatti from Milwaukie.

I cannot imagine the time and patience it took to create this paper plate gown. It's breathtaking.

I'm afraid I can't tell you any more about it or about Ali herself for that fact, other than the fact that she likes beer and cheese and moved to New York in 2014 to find her perfect job.

I hope you found it Ali and thank you for making this, it brightened up my day no end just to look at it...
