We dream in colour...

Only four more sleeps until Santa comes.

Queen Michelle and I are all still about the jewellery this week. That should be easy for the big guy, little boxes he can easily get down the chimney

My attention however has moved to the top of my head.

Just look at his lgourious headpiece from ‘ We dream in colour’

It seems so fitting with the winter solstice just around the corner.

This is the Jasmine headpiece. A dramatic cascade of verdant blossoms float from a hand hammered band for a stunning dose of bohemian glamour. All brass construction with natural verdigris patina.

I don’t really have enough words for how much I adore this…

We Dream in Colour is a black-owned, self-funded, and independent jewellery line designed and handmade with a focus on sustainability. Founder Jade Gedeon has been designing jewellery that separates itself with bold colours and rich patinas for over a decade.

In 2011 her sister Mika joined her full-time and has been instrumental in nurturing the line, championing the integrity of the product and process. Their combined goal: to craft brilliant pieces that will be well-loved for years to come, and prioritise the quality of life for their entire team over chasing aggressive growth.

They use repurposed materials and earth-friendly processes wherever possible and focus on working with socially conscious suppliers.

The site is filled with treasures. Just look at these hairpins below. They would turn every day into a good hair day…

I also think it’s family safe to say that I can see a slight obsession with verdigris starting.

Just look at these earrings and this necklace. That colour is just perfection.
