Sometimes an image so captivates me, it seems to create sound.

When I look at these images by Turkish artist Aykut Aydogdu, I can almost hear the water roar and smell the salt.

Born in 1986, Ankara ,Turkey he started studying Fine Arts at high school and graduated from Faculty of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

His surreal figurative works are mainly concentrated on the “dilemmas of the daily life”

Although I don’t know how many of us have a boat crashing into our head every day!

You can buy his work here

This last one ‘ Galactic Septum’ makes me think of my niece Laura.

I’m a very proud Auntie today as she has just had her place confirmed at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen to study Fashion and Textile Design.

Congratulations and huge love to her.
