I can see right through you
Given that I live in one of the rainiest cities in the UK, I loathe practical rainwear. OK, don’t loathe it exactly, but it isn’t my favourite thing. I just don’t really do practical that well. But it’s a necessary evil so I got to thinking about how to turn this necessity into something that feels more integrated into an outfit, rather than just something you shoved on top of it. So I took my transparent Stutterheim raincoat and built my outfit around it. Diaphanous, sheer Topshop Unique dress is layered under my Norwegian Wood custom cage skirt to create layers which you can see through in one respect or another. The raincoat now looks like an integral part of the outfit.
