Blooming Marvelous
What a week this has been. Overwhelmed with work before being struck down hard with the dreaded lurgy. Hence my posting schedule being all over the shop. So today I think we all need to look at something whimsical and beautiful.
This collection, entitled ‘Blooming’, is by Yiming Wang who is currently studying at Savannah College Of Art & Design. The entire collection is inspired by what she calls “abstract, fuzzy flowers in art painting”. Oversized, A-line silhouettes feature multiple layers of tulle, adorned with raw edged silk flowers which gather in abundance at necklines.
The blood red rose dress is by far my favourite and I would quite happily wear that every single day and never get bored of it.
