Vectory Lovers

The dreaded lurgy has hit me hard and fast this week, so please excuse this short and sweet post. I am raising my head out of bed to write it then going straight back.

Most of you will have seen, at some point, my neon yellow Issey Miyake Bao Bao bag. It’s hands down the bag that gets the most compliments and also a lot of curious people who want to touch it. This black version is high on my list for a much needed updated.

For the same reason I adore the Bao Bao, I adore these Vectory bags by Baguera, a portuguese brand created by Branca Cuvier.

With their pieced together triangle cut leather, the Vectory bags are a luxurious clutch version of the PVC Bao Bao aesthetic.

In 2012 the Vectory collection was the winner of POP's 2012 endorsed by Serralves Foundation in Porto, Portugal. Among the invitations to give some conferences in Lisbon, Porto and Covilhã, Baguera was also invited to exhibit at MeMy Mode Fashion Week Paris, Vogue Fashion Night Out Lisbon and Gallery New Values in Berlin.

The brand was invited by fashion designer Ricardo Preto to present her Vectory Oval earrings, necklaces and red mask that were specially made for his summer collection presented at the Lisbon Fashion Week 2012. In 2014 Baguera was invited by LDJ to design three exclusive collections and also by Samsung to design five different personalised pieces for the Samsung Galaxy Alpha campaign.
