BEAUTIFUL CONTRAST

My jewellery box is a place that delights me. Whilst unfortunately all my rings are now too big for me, I still have beautiful bangles and bracelets to wear, from vintage Navajo cuffs to white bronze thorn bangles. Sometimes I’ll spend hours cleaning and polishing my silver pieces that aren’t deliberately oxidised, or re-oxidising pieces that have become too shiny. It’s oddly therapeutic.

I’m always on the lookout for cool new brands to add to the jewellery box. Although often the best brands I come across are stateside, therefore out of my reach due to customs. One such brand is Dichtomie. I’m gutted this brand is based in the US, otherwise I would be buying from here regularly.

Based in Ohio - and that’s the sum total of what I know about the brand - their esoteric jewellery features sterling silver and bronze with semi precious stones such as amber, quartz and onyx. I absolutely adore it all. It has a slight Victorian feel to it all whilst exploring the darker aesthetic in a way that still feels fresh.
