Say hello to The Giant birdsnest aka “Giant Birdsnest for creating new ideas”

This wooden wonder was conceived and created as a prototype for new and inspiring socializing space: a fusion of furniture and playground! A comfortable informal soft space, the wooden nest is filled with highly comfortable egg-shaped sitting poofs which allow ergonomic sitting positions and various configurations for informal meetings and social exchange.

I'm all for a soft space, although given my elderly knees, I can't help but think, that while I would happily topple into the nest, I many never be able to get back out again...

The nest comes in various sizes, from a small and intimate nest for 2-3 people up to a 4.50 m diameter big version which can host up to 16 people at once – the soft space is perfect for dreaming, snoozing, reading, talking, blogging, browsing the web, relaxing,snuggling, talking, briefing, discussing - whatever you want to do, I'm guessing you can do it better in a nest!

The wooden nest is created from endless pieces of wooden panels. The inside features a slanted foam-padded wooden backwall covered with cotton-lycra fabric.
