Write and bright...

You can always count on Paul Smith to make all of the touch points in life a little more stylish and comfortable. That even extends to to writing instruments.

I love a good pen although stupidly the lovely ones I have, I tend to ‘keep them for good’.

I’m trying to challenge that attitude to everything in my life right now, as the time for taking joy in everything and using it should be NOW. Right now.

Say hello to CARAN D'ACHE + PAUL SMITH EDITION 4

Now in its fourth edition, his collaboration with the iconic Swiss stationer is a celebration of colour and creativity, as well as Paul’s long-time love of the Caran d’Ache 849 pen.

With a two-tone colour scheme – a graphic nod to Paul’s popular stripe motifs – each combination has been carefully chosen to contrast, clash or coordinate, reflecting Paul’s clever use of colour.

Made in Switzerland with a strong aluminium hexagonal body and a flexible clip, this pen is finished with a Paul Smith signature on the body.

Presented in a slim, padded case bearing the aforementioned two-tone colour scheme, this pen comes with a blue medium Goliath ink cartridge which lasts up to 600 A4 pages.

Pretty safe to say you are spoiled for choice as far as colour combinations go.

Unusally for me, think I would forgoe my usual pink and red favourite and go for one of these two above.

Now if you will excuse me I need to get back to work and my slightly tragic little V5 HI-Tec roller ball.

Harumph.
