Go Outside

We have all lived like prisoners for the last two years, to varying degrees, and with restrictions gradually ending, in total in some countries, it’s almost time to attempt to get back to some sort of ‘normality’, although I use the word loosely as honestly, I don’t think we’ll ever really be the same again. I personally don’t know if I’ll ever really feel comfortable going back in to a club or a gig. Who knows.

Young Polish designer Patrycja Segedyn, whose graduate collection was inspired by the first feelings of freedom after Covid. The pieces remind me of your granny’s wallpaper in the next way possible, with jacquard, florals and lots of pretty textures and dusty hues. It’s romantic and youthful, and each piece looks like it'd smell of vintage roses. Bliss.

What inspires me the most are places I’ve seen, people, nature and history. In my projects I always mix colors, prints, styles. and with my graduate collection, I won Cracow fashion awards 2020 - collection of the year that helped me to believe in my creative potential. So, I’m just getting started.
