Hair Today

Now that I have grown out my fringe, my hair has become completely low maintenance. Aside from regular trims at the salon, there is nothing I need to do myself. My previous hairdo with the blunt fringe needed trimmed every two weeks as the fringe got much too long in between proper salon visits so I had to trim it myself. But now, I don’t even need to dry my hair after I wash it. Not having a fringe has also opened up the world of hair accessories.

Recently I’ve been looking at ways to add drama to my hair in the form of pearls and chains.

pearls

Wearing pearls in your hair doesn’t have to be a wedding thing, pearl hair accessories look amazing on naturally disheveled hair as well as simple updos associated with bridal.

From Dolce & Gabbana’s oversized pearl headbands to Chanel’s dangling multipearl extensions, there’s a pearl for every head.

chains

For adding some heavy metal to your hair, hair chains are the new body chains. The clip in chain extensions might not be a picnic to get back out of your hair again, but damn they look good.
