On Saturday, armed with iced buns, mini donuts and a flask of tea, the whole Kingdom took to the ballet studio to shoot some of the new Danseuse pieces.

I've been giving our new mini collection, 'Petals', some serious test driving. It's withstood Swan Lake Cygnets, the Bluebird variation from Sleeping Beauty plus multiple falls and slides. I've stretched, I've done the splits, I've jumped and spun in these shorts and skirts and they never even as much as crease. As a testing department I'm nothing if not thorough!

I can't pick my favourite piece, because I have too many, but one highlight is definitely the short sheer blue striped Petal shorts. They are just so pretty! We've also now introduced them in Indigo in a longer length.

The new mid-length floral skirts in Ditzy and Tropical are also a delight to wear. Ideal if you're a little older, want more bum coverage or just prefer a more modest length skirt.

I love the vintage feel of the sheer white Petal shorts. These are also available in long.

Everything is just lovely to wear. When Dust and I create each collection, we strive to design something original and unique and I think we certainly have succeeded - you won't find shorts like these anywhere. Every detail is considered and test driven to the max.
