SCOTTISH LABEL IOLLA CREATE AFFORDABLE GLASSES FOR ALL
You know how much Queen Marie and I loooove sunglasses. To me they are an accessory that goes far beyond mere function. Choose well and they can really cement the dynamic of your outfit. In summer I rarely shoot outfits without them.
So when I'm introduced to a brand who believe in making great glasses - both prescription glasses and non-prescription sunglasses - for a fair price, I need to investigate further.
I had known about IOLLA on a surface level when I was doing some research recently for a
website I'm designing but I just assumed it was prescription glasses, so when I was invited to try out the brand myself, and was told that actually you can also get non-prescription sunglasses, I was intrigued.
The best thing about IOLLA is the price point - all glasses cost £65, regardless of prescription. IOLLA firmly believe that great glasses should be affordable for everyone so by cutting out unnecessary costs and designing glasses in-house they are able to provide higher-quality, better-looking eyewear at a good price.
What's not to love about that?
So what about the glasses themselves? I chose the Swinton in vanilla frame with brown gradient lenses and I admit I am very very impressed by the quality and workmanship. The glasses are solidly built and evenly balanced and they fit my face perfectly.
I couldn't resist compiling a dream outfit collage to match the glasses, featuring my current favourite shoes by Marquis' Almeida and top by Self Portrait. One of these things is making it into my closet but I just don't know which one. Decisions, decisions...
