Deco & DIY

Photography: Prince B, Styling; Queen Michelle

My first outfit in 2 weeks and Prince B and I decided to go to one of my favourite buildings in Glasgow to shoot it. It's a beautiful, but derelict, Art Deco building built in 1933 for Leyland Motors. Such a shame it's being left to disintegrate, as so many of Glasgow's historic buildings are. Isn't it just gorgeous? Of all the style and art movements, Art Deco is by far my favourite.

It was also the perfect backdrop to show off my most recent DIY.

I took one boring, basic white school shirt and made some seriously big sleeves for it. In order to compliment this beautiful building, I kept my outfit simple with clean, straight lines and Deco inspired accessories. You guys didn't seem keen on my last basic outfit but perhaps the big sleeves in this outfit might float your boat more. Failing that, just admire the building.

Dust donated these awesome jeans to me. She added in a Stay Pressed style seam up the front which, although a small detail, is one which has made all the difference.

A super simple outfit for me but when you have big fluffy sleeves, I think simple is pretty acceptable.
