Punk Rock Grandma

If last week's outfit didn't excite you, then you might want to look away because this week's outfit will send you over the edge. What is actually even going on here? It was one of those instances where I'm running errands, I don't want to go out in jogging trousers and I really wanted to wear these old, too small Black Milk PVC leggings. Somehow

I was absolutely determined, one way of another, to squeeze into them. Could I feel a slight whiff of fresh air around my backside area, leading me to ask the boyfriend to check I hadn't literally burst out of them? Yes, but thankfully all was well, the seam was just stretched to its absolute limit. A true testament to the quality of Black Milk leggings.

The Details

Vintage blouse; Vintage dress; Black Milk PVC leggings; Etsy hat; Free People coat; Underground England boots; & Other Stories bag; Rayban sunglasses

The vintage lace dress and lace top are some rediscovered oldies I found whilst looking for something else (which I didn't find). I'm so glad I found these through as I'd forgotten how much I adored both. I've been listening to a lot of The Cramps lately and Lux Interior was partial to a PVC pant so I guess it all merged and worked out, in a Punk Rock Grandma kinda way.

Squeezing myself into these leggings is not a long term solution though, as that seam will burst at some point, so I am now on the hunt for some red leather or PVC trousers, preferably with a looser cut, that won't split in public when I bend down. Nobody needs to see that.
