LaBellaBoutique Leotards Review & Giveaway

Ever on the lookout for flattering leotards for my non-ballerina body, I decided it was time to invest in some patterned ones. As adults we have lumps and bumps which seem magnified when under a leotard. For this reason most adult dancers tend to stick to black, however prints and patterns are actually far better at disguising your lumpy bits, so it was time to invest in some patterned leotards.

I came across LaBellaBoutique leotards on Etsy and ordered three leotards. The Etsy shop is closed at the moment but she has since opened a brand new online store.

LaBellaBoutique is based in Israel and currently has around ten models of leotards and a large array of patterns and colours to choose from and several sleeve options too, so each leotard is fully customisable.  She will also be adding a pre-made selection to the shop too. They are also far more affordable than either Eleve or Yumiko and the production time is a little less too.

Here's what I bought:

This is the Nicole model with no sleeves. The body is Cornflower Blue and upper is Abstract Flowers. The neckline is so flattering on this model and if you happen to be a little bustier, this model is very kind.

This is the Katie model with Antique Roses stretch lace, over Baby Pink nylon with a mesh top in Lavender. How pretty is this combination?!

This features a nude nylon base, burgundy stretch lace overlay and a burgundy mesh top. As someone who has a bit of a heaving cleavage in most leotards, this one is cut high enough to conceal it.

They are incredibly well made and flattering in ways I never imagined. The adult size medium and large are generously sized, cut ever so slightly wider. These are all size mediums and they are larger than Yumiko's size large.

I should mention that the pretty lace fabrics you see on my leotards will be added to the shop in a couple of weeks. The lace overlay option will be available on the following models: Katie, Anna, Shani, Alice and Nicole.

More exciting however is that LaBellaBoutique are giving KoS readers a chance to win a $50 gift voucher to spend in the shop! All you have to do is head over to LaBellaBoutique for a look, then leave a comment in this post telling me what your custom leotard would be, remember to include your email address in the comment form so I can contact you. That's it! I'll choose a winner on Wednesday 17th February .
