Snow Business

Well what is this white stuff covering Glasgow? SNOW! It's so rare we get snow here in Glasgow, so when a bunch of it unexpectedly fell at the weekend, and turned the city into a winter wonderland, I couldn't wait to get out and play in it, I mean take some photos.

Because we don't get snow often, I don't exactly have appropriate snow wear, so my version of snow attire is my huge Harris Tweed and leather draped biker coat, which I designed some years ago for a Scottish label called Jaggy Nettle. It's deceptively warm and makes even a simple outfit like a skirt and jumper seem like I've made far more of an effort. I've designed for countless labels and brands over the years but this creation is the one I'm most proud of.

We immediately headed to the park to get maximum snow and watched all the kids play on their sledges and build snowmen. I was a bit envious! Prince B was not quite as enamoured with the snow as I was. Oopsie.
