least. I have a constant sense of underlying dread at the moment, which doesn't make for vast amounts of optimism. Let's hope 2016 brings us all more luck, joy and better health.
Back to business though. This is the first outfit of 2016 and it's slightly somber. I'm not sure what 2016 will bring me style-wise either, but whatever it is there will probably be more lace involved.
As we enter into our 10th year, we become one
of the longest running fashion blogs. Yikes! So I want to extend a huge thanks to all of you. I want to especially thank those of you who take the time to comment - you are guys really are what makes the blog enjoyable for us too and it's because of you we keep doing this.
2015 was pretty shit for me personally and I go into 2016 with caution, to say the

Last year I wasn't getting as much out of ballet class as I had been. I'm not sure if it was me or the class, but I'm hoping to shake that feeling and start to enjoy dancing again.
It's been ages since I've worn these Underground England creepers. They custom made them just for me a few years ago and they remain one of my favourite pairs of shoes.
I snapped this little dress in the sale because I adored the mix of chiffon and lace and puff sleeves. The white shirt underneath is pretty much standard for me whenever I wear a black dress. The combo of dress and cross necklace reminds me of a cheap and cheerful version of Dolce & Gabbana AW09.
