Sack Dressing

If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen the glorious red embroidered dress I bought from Finery. It was my first purchase from this wonderful store and also my first red purchase. When I took it out of it’s box and tissue paper I was beside myself with excitement. However, my excitement soon turned to disappointment when I got home and tried it on, because the dress is apparently made for girls with far thinner arms than I possess. It was with a heavy heart I sent it back. It was almost enough to send me running for the celery sticks and salad.

I huffily declared to Prince B and Dust that quite clearly my body is only made for baggy, shapeless sacks. So, I bought a grey, shapeless sack in the form of this wool jumpsuit from ASOS Premium.

If you can’t beat ‘em…

It’s certainly not as pretty as the embroidered red dress, but now that the mornings are frosty enough to show your breath here, it’s far more practical.

Ugh, practical. Kill me now.

OK I'm just feeling a bit sore I didn't get to keep the glorious dress - this sack is actually pretty nice. The oversized pockets are cute and the turtle neck is ideal for fashion blogger fave, the hair tuck. I got my red fix by teaming it with a sheer red shirt Queen Marie bought me.

I also hope you like the injection of some Glasgow shots.
