As you might have noticed by now, we are big fans of shoes here in the Kingdom. Let's face though, who isn't? My own shoe buying has taken a back seat until I get a job or some freelance work, but there is nothing wrong with a bit of window shopping.
I have been lusting over the second collection, Decadence, by Romanian accessories designer Bianca Georgescu. It is inspired by the formation of 'rust' and steel degradation. The shoes are constructed from a unique printed natural leather with laser-cutting to create the illusion of corrosion.
Bianca Georgescu has devoted her life to "chasing the perfection only a handmade shoe can deliver" and has gained experience in the ateliers of Bucharest and Milan to bring this to life.
There is also clutch bags to match these wonderful shoes.
Who knew rust could be so desirable?
