Saturday saw Glasgow welcome spring with wide open arms. The sun shone brightly and it was the perfect day for Prince B and I to take a walk to buy some Creme Egg ice cream and look through records in Oxfam.
It never fails to amaze me how much happiness the sun brings, especially in Scotland since we rarely see it. It was smiling faces all round. Mind you, there was still that customary chill in the air so it's still far away from bare legs and toes weather.
I haven't bought anything new for ages, so I'm really just slobbing around in my favourite things, as I mentioned in last week's outfit post. These H&M jeans are top of the list. Still awkward and still hard to find to shoes to match. Luckily I dug deep into the shoe pile and found these Vagabond sandals from a few summers ago. They are equally awkward so are a match made in heaven.
The chill in the air meant it perfect for yet another outing of my now very old shaggy black furry coat. I love this damn thing.
With these jeans,I have been deliberately avoiding styling them in the obvious way - either with high heels and/or 70's. They lend themselves to both but I feel it's far more interesting to play up to their awkward side.
