Warmer Than May

I have a wardrobe and two clothes rails in my bedroom to try and contain all my clothes. My biggest clothes rail however started to lean dangerously to one side. It collapsed once before and Prince B managed to save it, but it couldn't survive a second collapse. So I bought a new heavy duty rail which is amazing. Whilst clearing my stuff off the old one, I rediscovered a few things I'd forgotten about, one of which was this blue velvet dress.

You know how there are some things in life you just can't let go of, no matter how wrong they are for you? Well, this dress is one of mine.

The cold, hard facts are it's too short, I can't lift my arms when I wear it and it's probably way too young for me, yet I can't bear to throw it out.

In order to solve the too short issue at least, I've worn leopard shorts underneath. As for being unable to raise my arms? I just won't reach for anything on high shelves.

I'm wearing it with my lovely little mini Zatchels bucket bag Queen Marie bought me as part of my birthday. The pretty lilac colour is perfect.
